About

The Funeral Singers was founded by Naomi Rogers, a classically trained soprano and professional musician with a passion for helping families create meaningful and memorable farewells through live music.

Alongside running The Funeral Singers, Naomi works for the International Opera Awards and as a consultant for an award-winning heritage and arts consultancy, bringing a wealth of professionalism, organisation and attention to detail to every service.

With years of experience performing at funerals, memorials and celebrations of life, Naomi understands the importance of providing not only exceptional music, but also a calm, reliable and completely hassle-free service. From liaising with funeral directors and celebrants to managing the music and sound equipment on the day, every detail is handled with sensitivity and care, allowing families to focus on what matters most.

Naomi is originally from Suffolk and holds both a Master of Music in Performance and a Bachelor of Music from the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music. Throughout her career she has worked with many of the UK's leading opera companies and organisations, including Opera Holland Park, Opera North, Clonter Opera, Buxton Opera, Northern Opera Group, the BBC, English National Ballet and the Hallé Orchestra. Most recently, Naomi performed the National Anthem at the prestigious Guards Polo Club in Windsor.

The Funeral Singers was created to bring this same level of musical excellence to funeral services. Every singer on our team is a professionally trained musician who has studied at one of the UK's leading music conservatoires and has extensive experience performing at funerals, memorials and professional engagements. Our performers are carefully selected not only for their musical ability, but also for their compassion, professionalism and understanding of the unique role live music plays in saying goodbye.

Based across East Anglia, we provide trusted, high-quality funeral singers and musicians for churches, crematoria, woodland burial grounds and celebration of life services. Whether families choose a traditional hymn, a classical favourite or a song that holds special meaning, our aim is always the same: to create a beautiful, personal tribute delivered with dignity, warmth and care.
